The Festival Board would like to welcome you to the Official Web Site of Kinsmen Cornwall Lift-Off 2014, the annual hot air balloon festival hosted in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada. This popular summer festival will rise again during the weekend of July 10-13, 2014, with all events taking place in Cornwall’s Lamoureux Park located on the St. Lawrence River! Cornwall Lift-Off was founded in 1994 and has since hosted back-to-back Canadian National Hot Air Balloon Championships in 1996 and 1997. The success of our festival has grown considerably from our modest beginnings in 1994.

This year, we anticipate the arrival of 25 majestic hot air balloons. In addition to our extensive balloon roster, we have also added an impressive list of musical groups that will perform on our stage. We encourage you to visit our WHAT’S NEW page to find out the latest news and updates, and to check out our festival schedule page for a complete schedule of events. Whether you plan on experiencing life above the Seaway Valley in a hot air balloon or feel more comfortable tapping your toes to our entertainment package, we are confident that you will find something to suit every taste!

Kinsmen Cornwall Lift-Off is a not-for-profit organization that is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, consisting of 19 community leaders. Please feel free to contact any of us, by visiting our festival contact page. This group and many other volunteers donate countless hours to make this community festival a reality! We’re also glad to be sponsored by Kingston Dental this year.

As you can imagine, the support of our community minded corporate sponsors is critical to the success of community driven festivals like Kinsmen Cornwall Lift-Off. Please stop by our festival sponsors page and make note of these excellent corporate citizens who have made this event possible. We encourage you to support these local businesses and when you do, please thank them for their support of Kinsmen Cornwall Lift-Off.

Each year, we welcome new faces in the crowd that join the tens of thousands of spectators from SD&G, Eastern Ontario, Western Quebec and Northern New York State. We encourage you to bookmark this site and visit often. We will update the many pages on a regular basis.
