On behalf of our Festival Board, I would like to welcome you to the Official Web Site of Kinsmen Cornwall Lift-Off 2009, the annual hot air balloon hosted in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada. This popular summer festival will rise again during the weekend of July 9-12, 2009, with all events taking place Cornwall's Lamoureux Park located on the St. Lawrence River! Cornwall Lift-Off was founded in 1994 and has since hosted back-to-back Canadian National Hot Air Balloon Championships in 1996 and 1997. The success of our festival has grown considerably from our modest beginnings in 1994. This year, we anticipate the arrival of 25 majestic hot air balloons. In addition to our extensive balloon roster, we have also added an impressive list of musical groups that will perform on our stage. Whether you plan on experiencing life above the Seaway Valley in a hot air balloon or feel more comfortable tapping your toes to our entertainment package, we are confident that you will find something to suit every taste! Kinsmen Cornwall Lift-Off is a not-for-profit organization that is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, consisting of 18 community leaders.
